I'd view all the world,
then maybe I'd know
How it could be so much better,
than what we have to show.

Could I just abolish,
all the pain that I see,
make all people fulfilled,
and painless and free?

Up there I'd see clearer
than I do down below
Maybe I could touch someone
and make them be whole..

Maybe I'd see the future,
and I'd understand
how there must be a reason
for the suffering of man.

We're put on this earth
as a near perfect thing
but it doesn't take long
to destroy all we bring.
